Target Vs Achievements

Maharashtra takes the monitoring and evaluation of the progress made under NEP 2020 seriously. Key Result Areas (KRAs) have been identified, which encompass various aspects of education, such as Multidisciplinary Education, Swayam Programs, Multi Entry & Multi Exit, Accreditation, Ranking, and more. The universities have sets specific self-targets and benchmarks for each KRA, and it regularly assesses the achievements against these targets. This allows Maharashtra to analyze the progress made, identify areas of success, areas needing improvement, and formulate strategies to bridge the gaps. By closely tracking the self-target versus achievements, the state ensures the successful implementation of NEP 2020 in Maharashtra. To facilitate this process, a NEP Coordinator has been appointed at the university level to implement the action points under NEP 2020 and document the key work. The Department of Higher & Technical Education of Maharashtra monitors the monthly progress of work using a tracking format developed by the department. Continuous support is provided to universities and HEIs to ensure the effective implementation of NEP 2020.
