DOL Organization Structure
The Directorate of Library is working under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Maharashtra State. This is the current structure of the Directorate of Library, as shown in the table below.
Above chart depicts the structure of Directorate of Library. At very high level there is Minister of Higher and Technical Education. At next level there is Principal secretary, after that there is Director of Directorate of Library, Mumbai. At Next level there is Deputy Director class(A) and also class(1) and class(2) librarians of different district wise central libraries. At next level there are assistant director of library, Manuscript officer and accounts officers of class(2). Also there are class(2) Librarians at each district which handles libraries at district level.
